Newburgh Brewery

Newburgh Brewing Company is located in Newburgh, NY, in a classic brick and stone renovated 1850s box factory. The brewery is situated on a massive four-story building that started life as a steam engine company over 160 years ago.

According to the owners, the building belonged to the Newburgh Paper Box Company, which closed in 1980. The location provides visitors with an industrial and rustic atmosphere that adds to the overall experience of visiting the brewery. Visitors can enjoy excellent craft beer, local wine, cider, and beer-paired foods in the restaurant while taking in the unique surroundings. Additionally, the location is situated on a hill overlooking the Hudson River and provides stunning views of the surrounding area. Overall, Newburgh Brewing Company's location offers visitors a unique and memorable experience that combines history with modern craft brewing.

Newburgh Brewing Company's brewmaster, Christopher Basso, has an impressive background in brewing and culinary arts. According to Newburgh Brewing, Basso began his brewing career at the Brooklyn Brewery after graduating from both Boston University and the French Culinary Institute. He is a founding partner/owner of Newburgh Brewing Company. Basso, is proud of his work as a brewer at Brooklyn Brewery before joining Newburgh Brewing Company.

Basso is also a mixologist who was trained at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan and turned an internship at Brooklyn Brewery into a successful career in brewing. Overall, Christopher Basso's expertise and passion for brewing have helped establish Newburgh Brewing Company as a top destination for craft beer enthusiasts in the Hudson Valley area.

Pennings Farm Cidery is a popular destination in WarwickOrange County NY. Established in 2014, the cidery offers varieties of American-style hard ciders and fresh ciders made directly from Pennings Farm apples. The cidery is an orchard-based cider venue that gets very busy, especially after Labor Day weekend for the apple picking season. Palaia Vineyards closing thier doors.

Palaia Winery and Meadery, a popular venue in Highland MillsNew York, has closed its doors for good. The winery was known for its great mead, wine, food, and live entertainment. The owners of the winery announced the closure on their website and expressed gratitude to their loyal customers over the years. Palaia Winery was a well-known establishment in the area and had been featured in news articles such as The New York Times. It is unclear why the winery closed down. Customers are hearing rumors that the winery has been sold and may reopen, keep your fingers crossed.

TIN BARN BREWERY

Tin Barn Brewing is a farm brewery located in Sugar LoafNew York, that offers live music along with its juicy IPAs and other beers. The father-daughter team behind the brewery renovated an Orange County barn to create a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy homegrown Hudson Valley beer, oven-baked pizza, and live music. Tin Barn Brewing is friendly, authentic, and fun, with flavorful beer and a two-story deck with seating outside. The brewery is new to the local scene but has already become a popular day-trip destination for locals and tourists alike.
